I'm so sad...

It's been a little rough here today. Finances are a bit tight, Harold had to go out of town again, this afternoon was crazy busy, and to cap it all off ~ my diamond fell out of my wedding ring :(

I was doing laundry after I spent the morning helping the boys clean their room. I was just going to go get a load of towels from the dryer when I looked down and noticed that my main stone was no longer there. I have no idea where it was lost or when. I'm soooo sad....

It's things like this that bring my kids all together though. They ALL took it very seriously that we want to find mom's diamond. I was in tears and they took their turns comforting me. Ryan even questioned me to see if he could figure out where it might be.
We never found it :( I'm almost positive it's in the house somewhere but with four kids, me, 3 dogs, & 2 cats constantly moving around it will be impossible to find it. I've prayed, Harold has prayed, & Carrie has prayed....we're still praying it will just show up or God will lead me to it.

The second sad part of this is that I had to cut the ring off my finger. Yes, I said cut. My fingers are a bit too chubby for it come be slid off and I tried the soap & water trick, it was not budging. So I found Harold's dremmel tool, slid something under the ring to protect my finger and cut away. Let me tell you, metal gets HOT!!! The heat travels!!! After cutting and then bending it the ring is now off and safely tucked away. Hopefully we'll be able to get it fixed for our anniversary.
This is a good oppertunity for Harold to get me that anniversary band I've wanted for a couple years! :) That'll take some saving though. For now I'll give my finger a rest and then put on a ring my mom gave me a couple years ago.

Thanks for hanging with me through my whinning.....

I will be praying that you find it too. That is sad. I broke off a prong on my wedding ring and havn't been able to wear it for a while so I can relate , a little. You are in my prayers we think about you often! Patti
