After a LONG day with airplanes and layovers, Ryan & I landed in San Diego at midnight! Despite it all we did have a good time. On the layover in Minneapolis, MN we got to see my best friend, her kids, and her step-mom who is my second "Ma" :) We ate dinner at the Mall of America and walked around a bit. Once we got back to the airport we ended up with a 45 minute delay. That did not make Ryan happy. He is a very schedule oriented person...if we are supposed to board the plane at 8:35pm, we darn well better :) Gotta love him!
I couldn't believe it when Jessica, Autumn, & Patrick were all awake in the van at 12:30am. They sure were excited to see us! Although I'm not sure who was more excited, Harold or the kids. LOL!
On the way home we all had many interesting conversations but the one that stuck out in my mind was this one from Patrick:
It was raining coming out of San Diego....
Patrick:"Is it raining?"
Me:"Yep"
Patrick:"No, I think it's God taking a bath upside down. And all his water fell out."
Yea, we were laughing!!
