Bye-Bye...

Today was:

'Let Lucky Loose Day'

at our house :)

If you remember from an earlier post, we had found a turtle in the road during fair time. We "adopted" the turtle and were going to keep it. Which we did for a time.

Recently, Harold has felt that Lucky was getting a little too mean. He would try to bite Harold when he picked him up to clean his shell or something. Mean little thing. Thus, we decided to spring him from his captivity and let him join his friends (& possibly family) in the canal by our house. :)

As you can tell by this picture....Autumn was not happy about letting Lucky loose. She was crying...












This is Patrick and Jessica down by the canal just before the release.
Jessica was not pleased with us either but went along with it....because I told her that there wasn't a choice, Dad had made a decision and we were sticking with it!
Patrick of course was just happy to have some time at the canal..lol

Here Harold is releasing Lucky. You can just see him in Harold's right hand.

Everyone kept watching to see if they could see Lucky swim away. :)
