Tuesday I took the kids to Coronado Beach on North Island Naval Base. This is the beach they like best ~ because it's clean and never crowded. I dislike it because it is a LONG walk through the loose sand to get to the water. If you have to go back for the restroom or get something from the van, you better be desperate...LOL!
As you can see, the kids had fun. I was amazed because it was actually pretty overcast that day and cold. They first walked along the beach picking up shells and sand dollars.
They then decided to try out the water. Brave souls!!

The girls finally got brave and figured out how to Boogy Board! Next time we'll work on getting them out farther to catch the waves. They only went out about 3 feet and rode in from there.

Loooks like fun, maybe Jess will go in Lake MIchigan like she did when she was a baby and visited me!!!!! Remember?????? I can take her to the exact same park!
