This week we've been in Las Vegas helping out Harold's sister and brother-in-law. Their son has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and it's been a wild week with him in the hospital and all.
Thankfully he is improving and will get to come home tomorrow as long as there are no other complications.
We spent Tues night through Friday at their house helping to take care of things. Makes for less that they have to worry about while he's been in the hospital and when they get to come home.
I made sure the house was cleaned up and the laundry done. We even cleaned out the cabinats a bit.
Tonight we've come to stay at Harold's brother's house. That way his sister can have a quite night at home with their other son.
Also because their air mattress kept losing air during the night and it was so hard to get good sleep. Here we'll do a bit better. :) We didn't mind staying over there though.
We'll leave to head home tomorrow sometime. I'm sure our dogs will be excited to see us. They've been outside this whole week and it's just too darn hot! The cats have probably taken over the house....we'll have to take it back...haha.

Hopefully you still have dogs....was anyone going and checking on them? Feeding them???? Spending time with them??? Poor things.
Glad to hear things are getting better. So they did not know Austin had diabetes before? Yikes....
Well I am stuffed...we went to Sheboyagan this afternoon and we ate supper at Perkins. Kenny didn't finish his pancakes, and they looked so good so I ate some....MISTAKE......I am so full....I need to go make some TEA and force this food through my digestive system.....
o.k. that is all your daughter will be going to g and g's tomorrow afternoon.....we will get to the chocolate place before we leave town....I would go tonight, but you would have to roll me across town.
Haha...that'll teach you to eat someone else's food :)
Did you do a shop at Perkins?
Yes, we had a friend checking on the dogs twice a day. She goes in and takes care of the cats and the dogs. I am just hoping she scooped the cat box for us or we'll have some big problems! I forgot to mention that but she did do it while we were gone in June so I'm crossing my fingers :)
No I did not do a shop at Perkins.....have not seen them on the list..however I am going to look for the Bed Bath and Beyond one, along with the Arby's and maybe a Sears one and do them all in one day next month!
I was reading the chat forum on the website for SI and I saw how someone used a DVR to record all of their jobs.....woooo hoooo my MP3 player also is a DVR!!!! ha ha so I tested it out and made sure I know how it works.....it is typical to find someone come in places with an MP3 hanging out of one ear.....yes!!!!!!
Wow. Hopefully Austin is ok. please make sure Missy is ok:) I miss her ALOT!!!! Im gonna post more when i get to thinking. im at Gma's and Gpa's so i'll have to get back soon. Eliot is frustrating me>:( Well, L8R!!!!
