I suppose I should give some sort of an update since it's been quit some time since I last posted.

I've had things to post but been too lazy to hook the camara to the computer to transfer the pictures that go with some of the posts. :)

I am still healing from my surgery. Had a set back and now have a tube hanging from my underarm. Infections do that... HOPEFULLY the tube will come out tomorrow!! My skin is sooooo done with tape and I'm soooo done with a bandage constantly in my armpit. I must say though, it's nice not having that lump there any more :)

Patrick is currently sick. We're not sure what it is, but he does this every two to three months. Fever with sore/swollen throat. The only thing throwing me this time is the headache he has been having. So far we're keeping up with Tylenol, popsicles, & gatorade.

I've been reading a lot on simplifying and learning to live with less and on less. It's very inspiring and we are doing a big purg of our house. We're planning a HUGE yardsale this fall.

We are taking a look at our homeschooling method and changing some of the things we've done. We know how our kids learn and will go with that. Autumn will continue with her school. We love Ms Melissa!! Only three weeks until school starts for her :)

We have been playing A LOT of games with the kids and reconnecting as a family. That has been good. Right now Harold and the kids are playing Monopoly - USMC version. Patrick has been doing very well :)

I spent some time coloring with Patrick and Autumn today. It was fun.

The biggest thing is that we miss Jessica and can't wait for her to get home!! If it weren't for the Maine trip and time with Auntie Bev, we would have brought her home early. She has had a great time with Gramma & Grampa....it's just been too long to have her gone for. Our animals miss her too! I love catching Ryan on the phone with her. He will tell you that he does not miss her but then you will find him calling her on the cell phone just to chat :)

You better not even think of taking her home early....she is my distraction to keep me from being super sad from leaving Ecuador.....I am anxious to have her.....just hope I have some money in the bank...ha ha.
We're not bringing her home early now. She is really looking forward to time with you and has had a blast in Maine!
Only 16 days until she comes home though...I still need to call the airlines and tell them that you are dropping her off at the airport :)
