Remember, she is volunteering at our vet's office. She has been working in the office area doing charts and phones. Today though the vet's decided she needed to be in the back and working with animals. One of the vets in particular is VERY supportive and encouraging Jess in her dream to be a vet. :)
Anyhow, they had a dog come in for a c-section and Jessica was able to witness it. She then was taught what to do with the puppy and was tasked with it's care.
Here is a picture of Jessica and "Prince Lorenzo". She is doing foster care for him for atleast 3 weeks.
She will type about it more on her blog in the next couple days.

Do you actually have the puppy at home or is it just at the vet office? Looks very small. Keep up the good work Jessica. Love Gramma
