*let me preface this by saying that I need to get a picture tomorrow to add on here*
This afternoon/evening the kids were riding bikes with some neighborhood girls. Patrick came in to show me some of the "owies" he was getting from riding his bike and crashing. I'm not sure how he was crashing though because he has training wheels....but I digress.....
I told him that if he wanted to I could take his training wheels off and help him learn how to ride a two-wheeler.
He didn't want to then so I told him to let me know if he changed his mind.

Not 5 minutes later he came back in and asked me to take his training wheels off. Being the nice mom that I am, I complied.
So here's me thinking, 'this is going to take a while. probably have a few crashes in the begining.'
I hold the back of Patrick's bike and he gets on. I help him start out and then he has some dang good balance I figure out so I decide to let go.....that little turkey took off all on his own!!!
None of us could believe it. It was sooooo exciting and he's proud.
A friend came over and he showed her. Then daddy and Ryan came home from bowling so he had me go out and help him so he could show them. It was a great evening!!
