Yes, those are actually snowballs in the kid's hands!The boys and I brought home THREE coolers of snow from the mountains :)
You can sort of see the snow in the cooler there to the right. Autumn is trying to get some for the snowball fight the kids were having in the yard.
They had so much fun! I let them play with two of the coolers and then we saved the third one for Autumn's class.
Here is Autumn getting ready to hit someone....probably me.....with a snowball! I'm not sure why Ryan isn't in any of the pictures. Although, it is a little hard to get pictures of the flying snowballs :)
They had some very cold hands when they were done. In fact Ryan had come in and gotten a pair of socks to put on his hands because they were freezing :)
This is only the second time Autumn and Patrick have ever touched snow so it was a real treat. Patrick couldn't believe all the snow we had seen in the mountains. It was like putting him in a candy store...I loved it!

he would really be in a candy store if he was here with all our snow. We are back to really cold weather again, can't wait for Feb to be over. Mom
Hee hee last night I was thinking of you all as the Big loader were filling up dump trucks over and over again all over town while I was delivering Pizza.....
