I have this uncanny ability to pick up accents really easily....
I've noticed it before when I've been in West Virginia, out in Maine, and here at home in the North.
Well, I have been here in WI for 4 days now and I sound scandinavian! I've got the whole "yah" thing down and they have such a strong accent on the sound of "no" in words. (I had a great one for you when I was driving and now I can't remember what it was...geez....)
It was also a bit funny when I was in Sam's club paying a bill for my mom. I went to the snack counter because I was really craving a soda. The girl had to look at me a second longer than normal when I said, "Can I just have a soda?"
They say pop here.....and on the subject of that.....do they have something against PEPSI???? Everywhere I go I find Coke machines and it's really starting to depress me....lol. I actually had to get a Dr. Pepper today.....Jessica knows how much that upsets me :-)

I say soda all the time...I think you are just weird or you talk like a hick from AZ so no one understands what you are saying...ha ha ha....
