While Jessica was washing Bandie, I decided to walk around and take some pictures of Patrick and the other horses....

Here is Patrick hiding from the camara. He did not want his picture taken. Strange, since he's usually the one always in the camara's path.

This is "Polly & Shimmer". They are mother and son. Polly is the dark one with the white spot on her forhead. She is a thoroughbread and a former race horse. Shimmer is half arabian and half throroughbread. He's got the personality of a big dog. :)

We are hoping to one day (in the not to distant future...like maybe in a year) breed Polly to get Jessica a foal.

Here is Shimm hamming it up for the camara. He LOVES to be the object of attention. I kid you not when I say that, as soon as the camara comes out Shimm finds a way to get in the picture. He will follow you around...seriously! He's a big, playful dog :)

And finally.... Before we left we fed the horses. I do the hay and Jessica does the "cookie dough" with whom ever has come along. Patrick wanted to do Romey's so we let him.

I love that Patrick can walk around the pasture with these horses and not get injured and that he feels so comfortable he can sit down right by Romey and feed him.
