There certainly are perks to having a kid volunteering/working at the vet office.
Yesterday was "Spay Day" at our vet office and Jessica volunteered the entire day. She helped put together surgery packs, sat with a dog, got flush syringes ready, etc..
Well the main doc askedher if she was going to bring in our one dog to be spayed. Jessi had mentioned it to her the previous day. Well doc said she would spay Amber as her last patient of the day. :)
So we had one dog spayed for FREE! Woo Hoo!!!
gotta love those perks....

that is a good deal, she better stay there for any other costly things that may come up, great benefit. Mom
