This "little" yellow ball combined with this girl strikes even more fear in my being!!
Autumn starts her softball season tonight with her first game.
She is pitching for part of it and so I went out to practice with her this morning. That was hard for me. I've always been afraid of baseballs or softballs coming at me and so me volunteering to play catch with her was HUGE.
And don't make her mad while playing catch.....she has an arm on her! One time I made the stupid mistake of trying to catch the ball with my hand that did not have the glove on it. Umm...dumb! The bottom part of my palm STILL hurts and it's 6 hours later. :(

I hope she does well and enjoys softball because if she likes it she could go on to be very good and be part of a city or school team. Hopefully it will help expell some energy to slow her down at home. I like the picture, please send me one in her uniform. Mom
