I'm sure many of you remember good 'ol Mad Libs.
My kids LOVE these things and the goofier they can make them, the better they are. So here is a recent "story" they did.....
"It is always fun to chop up some frogs and use them to build a/an fat campfire. Then you get all of the snakes to sit around the fire and tell scary stories. You can tell about Ichabod Crane the giant schoolteacher of Sleepy Hollow and his purple adventures with the headless crocodile. Or you can tell "The Fall of the House of Sperry," which was written by Edgar Allen Stuart. Or you can tell about vampires from New York like the terrible Count Dent, who bit people on the wiener and drank their urine. By this time, many of the young campers will start shaking in their socks and will begin yelling for their cousin and go hide under the toilet. Believe me, when it comes to sleeping a bunch of kids, there's nothing like a real green ghost story."
