I think last night was the first Halloween night that it took us HOURS to get ready! I serverly underestimated how long it was going to take :(
There was SOOO much make-up and hair to be done...
I think Autumn was the easiest. She was Catwoman and just had to put on tights, leotard, boots, mask, & lipstick. She did have me spray her hair black though since everyone else was getting sprayed :)

Then there was Jessica. She decided to go with the more traditional Vampire this time. I had to paint her whole face white, put on eyeliner, lipstick, blood, and spray her hair. Not to mention that at the last minute I had to sew a piece into her dress because it was rather low-cut! She looked pretty good though :)

Jessica was the one painting Patrick's face. He needed a scared up face and a friend taught Jess the basics of how to do it and lent her some face paints.
This was the beginning...
She did pretty darn good.
Patrick was Two-Face from the Batman movie. We had fun doing his hair and I had to make his suit, shirt, & tie look just the way the character's did! Needless to say, I was sewing for a couple hours yesterday afternoon. But it turned out GREAT!!

And everyone already knows that Ryan was going as the Joker. I had lots of make-up to do on him. I used an entire can of green hairspray on his hair!! Then had to color his eyebrows green...it was quite the time :)

I like the costumes, so many people go out and buy them, its nice to see the orginality of the kids doing what they want, need to see a oic of Jess's whole outfit. I hope you all had a great time. Love Gramma
Wow you sewed the suit??? I hope you took two and cut them apart and sewed them back together..I didn't know you could sew so good!!! ha ha
The kids look outstanding, I am very impressed with jessica's job on Patricks face, she did great!
Nice job one and all....yea we need to see the whole vampire outfit.
Actually we bought the black pants, tie, and suit jacket at Salvation Army. I then bought a light weight white polyester material and sewed that over top of the black :) I had to sew a piece of black material on the white shirt also.
I was very proud of myself and how well it turned out :)
They all liked their costumes and had fun putting them together. AND it was cheaper than going out to buy them...well and LOTS more fun!!
I told them that half the fun of Halloween is making your costume. I also told them how mom used to make ours.
