it's that time...

Merry Christmas!!!
.
That should have been posted this morning but, well....I was sleeping :)
The girls woke up at just after 5 AM to check out their stockings. Shortly after that we got the boys up to look in theirs. Patrick nearly jumped out of bed when we whispered in his ear that is was Christmas Day! It was really cute :)
All the presents were opened by 6:15 AM...wowzers...
.
It was a very scaled back Christmas this year, but one of the best too. The kids really appreciated everything they got. No present overload.
.
As for their favorite presents:
Ryan: I think it was the PSP game he got from Krysten
Jessica: The Twilight zip up sweatshirt from us
Autumn: Her Idog from us and her homemade jean purse from Auntie Bev
Patrick: His Transformers chess set from us
.
They all LOVED their new Jackets from Gramma. Patrick's face was priceless when he saw his with the dinosaurs embroidered on back! Mom did a fantastic job on all of the stuff and it will be treasured and well used for a LONG time.
.
I was able to get Patrick two Build-A-Bear dinosaurs that have been retired from Ebay. He was so thrilled! He has been hugging on them and playing with them all day. That is when he's not showing off his new jacket/sweatshirt or playing someone in the new chess game.
.
They have all put their new pillow cases on their pillows and plan to sleep on them tonight. It's so fun to watch them.
.
I loved all my gifts and I will treasure the little snowglobe from Autumn that has a little snowman in it. She bought it with her own money and was so proud. I love it! Patrick gave Harold & I a picture/poem thing he made at school and it's so neat. He also drew me a snowman card at home and was so excited to give it to me. I'll treasure it always. :) Then there is the snowman throw blanket from Jessica...oh my gosh is that thing soft!
.
Again, it was a GREAT christmas and one to remember for always. It really is the simple things that make life great!
