I tell ya, some times I worry about my children.
They used to be able to clean their rooms. That must have been ages ago.... Now I hear this,
"I can't clean up my stuff, Patrick's is on TOP of it!"
What the heck??? Since when can you not move your brother's crap to get to your own?
Sounds like a lame ass excuse to me!

sounds familiar from your young life! You could do what Renee does, if it doesn't get done in so much time she takes a large garbage bag and everything is gone no matter how much they want it and its in the garbage barrel, never to return. I bet they will hurry up then, I don't think the boys would like loosing all the bionicals. Mom
ha ha ha we never had problems cleaning our rooms did we??? ha ha ha what a joke....I still don't like to clean my room and there is no one elses stuff on top of my stuff....how sad....
I used to through things away in the garbage. Now the garbage bags go into the basement never to been seen for months. Although, it's not necessarily fixed the problem. So I've started allowing them to earn two items back if they get their rooms clean according to our written and signed contract. If not, then they lose everything they've earned back and only have one stuffed animal to sleep with.
Wow Renee! I like that one and might have to do it. I'll work with them on a contract and we'll stick to it. That seems to work best with Autumn. Thanks!
