Even though Bev and Judy said we could not have a true Polar Bear swim here, we did!
It wasn't as cold as WI and it wasn't Lake Michigan, but it was COLD. To the right is,Cindy, the crazy lady who organized this :)
Here are Autumn and I walking down to the area to get ready.
Yes, we needed warm jackets that day. It does get cold here.
Here we are, ready to go in. Autumn covered her cast with two rubber gloves and good 'ol duck tape :) That was Auntie Bev's idea. 
And in we go...
And back out we come...

It doesn't look as cold as here when this is done, usually there is ice on the water, but glad you both tried this, it is quite the experience. Mom
you aren't suposed to do that because water can still get in the cast iknow from expirnce!!!!!!!!!!!
