I don't know when teeth brushing became such a terrifying thing, but Patrick will do anything to avoid it! I thought we had struck gold when I bought him a new toothpaste that is fruity. He liked it sooo much for the first week. He'd even brush his teeth without anyone telling him too. He'd just announce that he was brushing his teeth, or sometimes that he was "fruiting his teeth". LOL!
Anyhow, here are his most recent excuses to not brush his teeth:
* "I'm not tired, I was just blinking my eyes"
* "I'm not tired, my eye is watery" (while he is rubbing it)
* "I can't brush my teeth yet, I need a drink"
My favorite is him hiding under a pillow so that we won't know that he is going to sleep!
That is how I found him tonight. He was in his dad's chair with a pillow over his head, all curled up. Silly kid! You have to love him though :)
