girls and their horses.....

Jessica had been spending time at her Aunt Brenda's since Harold and the kids arrived in Vegas on Monday night. Her cousin Nikayla is 2 months younger than her and they get along so great. Nikayla has horses and Aunt Brenda manages a stable and thus cares for the horses there. Now you know the second reason Jessica likes to stay at Aunt Brenda's house...lol....

Yesterday (12/20) the girls went to the stables in the early am (like 5:30am!!) to ride horses. About 7 or 7:30am Harold gets a phone call from Brenda..... Jessica has fallen off a horse and they are headed back to the house so she can better asses Jess. Harold and I were out of the house and headed there quickly.

After much talk and looking her over, we decided to just watch her for a bit before taking her to be checked out further. Before leaving to come back and take a shower, I helped Jess into a warm bath.
Thankfully Grandma Lawana would be there to help her out and get her dressed.

Autumn & I went back over there after we got cleaned up. Jess slept for a while and we nearly took her to the hospital but after more evaluation decided to wait to see how she would be today.

By the end of the day yesterday she was doing a lot better although still VERY sore.

This morning she is doing well. Of course she's sore and saying she won't get back on the same horse right away.....

She'll be back on Cinnamon tonight or tomorrow morning. It's important that she gets back on the same horse and ride otherwise Aunt Brenda won't let her ride any horse of hers. We agree! :)

This is how Jessica found out that Ryan & I had came to Vegas :)
