I have arrived in Wisconsin. As the airline pilot said last night, it's a "balmy 5*" here......yea WHATEVER!!! When you leave 73* weather that you were wearing shorts in, 5* is NOT balmy!
They say, it should be up to 30 in the next couple days.....too bad I didn't bring my swimsuit...LOL.
Anyhow, I landed at around 11:20pm and Ryan greeted me at the baggage claim. He's become more of a teenager. He was embarrassed to give me a hug, even though I could tell that he really wanted to. He just didn't want anyone to see him do it :)
I found my flights interesting. Especially once I boarded the plane for Green Bay. There is just a different look to the people of the north. It's different than down south....I'm not sure how to explain it but you can tell they belong here.
I'm not sure which group I belong in anymore. I grew up in the cold and snow, but my blood has thinned a bit since we moved to AZ 12-1/2 years ago.
I'll post some pictures as we take them. I have been given two missons by the kids before I left. Autumn wants to know how quick a bottle of water will freeze outside in this weather. Jessica wants a picture of Ryan and I with a snowman we make. Those are my tasks for today. :)
I wish I could share a picture of my stow-away. I took one before leaving but did not have time to load it on the computer. Patrick hopped into my suitcase and we have a cute picture of him peaking out of it. I'll have to share that on the return trip.
Have a great day everyone.
