I started my new job today. Can I just say, I am soooo glad I have great kids!
I was able to take an extended nap this afternoon/evening and they behaved wonderfully! No fighting. I am so impressed and told them all that.
If you are wondering what my new job is.....I started delivering the newspapers to the Marine Base here. It's a once a week job but it starts around 2:30 AM! This morning it was at 1:30 that I got the call the guy dropping the papers was in town. I met the gril who is training me and she showed me the route. It's not that bad, just a little time consuming. I'm sure once I get it down it won't be bad at all and I will be having Ryan or Jessica helping me each time (well until Jessica leaves for Gramma & Grampa's...lol).
I told the kids I would pay them each time and I figured out how much they will get. It will be the amount the recycling center gives them for all the old papers they turn in :) We filled the girl's trunk with papers this morning. It was amazing!
Ok...off to see the new Pirates movie....gotta get my Johnny fix ;)

are you reverting to your teen years? A paper job? I remember those early hours with dad delivering papers and getting to school late....I still don't know how I made it all day in school after being up 1/2 the night....LOL....good for you getting the kids to help out.
I am spending my last night at this "doc's" house...then going to spend the next few days with mom and wayne......anyway the 15 yr old who is here is in love with Johnny also and she screams Jack Sparrow I love you whenever she sees the commericals....it is a hoot! She is hyper!!! but it has been good, she is good. Her sister is 23 and has down syndrome so it has been a nice week, very independent and kind kids. The only issue I have is the freaking cat.....I have been sick all week and was horribly ill Tuesday, found out I am allergic to the cat.....yikes....so I had to do a bunch of stuff to get myself back to breathing...4 kinds of meds at different times, inhaler and keep my room cat free.....and had to bring all my own towels and bedding....so tomorrow morning before I pack to leave I have to get all this stuff back in order....yikes.......
O.k. well I should have just written you an email..

Jessica is going to help me for the couple weeks before she leaves so she can earn some money to take with her. Then Ryan will help and sometimes Autumn.
Earn some money? You should be giving her money....LOL she cooks for you, she takes care of Autumn and patrick while you were up here horsing around and she cooks for you and oh did I mention she cooks for you?????
