greetings....

This is what greeted us in the parking lot of Walnut Canyon.



Yes, it's a tarantula! A baby one :)

The kids all thought it was soooo cool and looked at it for a long time.

Ms. Lina tried to pick it up but it reared up on it's back legs and so she then tried to use her hat. She was able to get it on it but the darn thing jumped off. So we left it in the parking lot (she was trying to move it to the grass).
