I took this picture the other night to have as proof that Ryan can read a book :)

This child has always HATED reading. He would not read a book for anything. Comic books were fine, technical books about things he liked were fine, but no real books with chapters and a plot.

As a baby and then even as he grew older he liked to be read to but don't ask him to read a book for pleasure or for work!

He has gotten back into his Bionicals and he has the first book in the series. I noticed him reading that and then much to my surprise he asked his friend, James, if he could borrow books 2-5 from him. I was shocked!!

He's been reading them! He's on book number 3 now and enjoying it. Sometimes it's hard to get him to do something because he can't tear himself from the story.

Who is this kid and where is my son???!!!

I am soooooooo happy!! I LOVE to read and so do Jessica & Autumn. I had always hoped Ryan would enjoy it and I'm glad that he is developing an interest now. This will help with his schoolwork too. He'll better understand some of the things his English/Grammar book was trying to teach him.
