new way to save money on clothes...

I bought this costume for him last week because this is what he wants to be for Halloween.

.

He declared, "I am going to wear this everyday until I come home from Halloween and then I will take it off and never wear it again!"

.

He has held up to that statement! Even sleeps in it!! Well, not the mask...he only wears that part occassionally.

.

We argued over him wearing it to church. He wanted to but dad and I said NO! We had a small battle of the wills and I told him that he could put it back on as soon as we got home.
He asked me, "Can I still wear it to gas stations and stores?"

I said of course he could. :)

I am used to his eccentricities in this area. He's been like this for quite a while now. I've gone to the store with him dressed at "woody" from toy story, "superman", "captain feathersword" from wiggles, "batman", and possibly others :)

Harold on the other hand has problems with it..haha.

We had dropped the other three kids at the movies Sunday evening and headed to Target. On the way, Harold said that he would not walk with us but about 20 feet behind.

This was the conversation:

ME: "Why? You don't like the costume?"

Harold: "No, it's the slippers" (see above photo!)

Patrick: "What? They match!!"

I thought I was going to get into an accident, I was laughing so hard!!

As you can see from the photo, Patrick donned his mask to walk into Target. Harold, true to his word, stayed FAR behind us. I was just giggling and so many people thought he was cute :)

Harold rejoined us inside when Patrick took off the mask.

Gotta love him!!

(two weeks ago, Patrick informed us his name was once again "Wingsaver" and we had to call him that. Even at Church I had to sign him into his class under that name! LOL!!)
