I don't really have any pictures to share from the rest of the day.
We were supposed to go visit part of the Navajo reservation but we were all tired and had some cranky kids...not to mention that Ms. Melissa's ankle was not doing well :(
So we drove to the edge of the reservation and looked out. It's pretty vast and would have been neat to visit but we do that another time also. :)
.
We did get to have some rain from a storm. We were hoping for snow but no luck.
We drove up to a scenic outlook called Snowbowl and saw the fall colors. Something you don't really get to see down here. It was beautiful!
It really reminded me of home (minnesota) and made me want to go back.
.
After that we drove back to the house we were staying in. On the way we got more rain and it actually started to hail a little bit. Ryan loved catching the little ice bits in his hand out the window.
.
When we woke up the next morning all our vehicles had ice on them. The kids ran to get outside and feel it. They were even trying to get it off the cars.
Autumn warned me that the windsheild had ice and I would not be able to see. I assured her that I knew how to deal with it...lol!
