changes...

This will be another post in my wieght loss saga...
I know I have not updated in a while. :)

I kinda slacked off exercising for a little bit. Life got in the way. Then I started hating the way I felt and got back on the bandwagon. That was the best thing I could have done. :) I LOVE to work out and get in shape, although it is a lot of work.

The good news is that I somehow maintained all my wieght loss while life was getting in the way. Not sure how that happened. I know I lost a little muscle but am quickly getting that back.
So far I have lost 15lbs since starting. Woo Hoo!! I'm not sure about inches because I can't access the record I had on the other computer. I have to start new on that. I do know that I am getting rid of yet another pair of shorts because they are too big for me. :)
I have noticed a change in my lower legs and in my hands/wrists. And my bras continue to be too big..lol. One day I'll go get new ones :)

I have changed my diet. I am eating less meats and more fruits/vegetables. I refuse to give up fish and seafood though. Those are just too yummy!

I have started having a "green smoothie" for breakfast and that really fills you up. Funny thing is that some of them are not neccessarly green in color, it's just what you put in them.
Yesterday it was:
*an orange
*handful of spinach
*2 cups water
*2 frozen bananas
all mixed together in the blender

This morning:
*1 cup strawberries (I used mixed berries)
*2 bananas
*water
*half of a bunch of romaine lettuce

Harold is drinking them with me and says he likes them. I am struggling with today's. I can taste the romaine more than he could. Maybe next time I will take the bottom of the blender..lol.

And for more news....Today I am going to sign up for a couple college classes!! I am going to start the pre-req's for Dental Technician. The good news is that if I change my mind about that career, these pre-req's fit with just about all the careers I am interested in :)

Glad to hear you maintained your weight, working out is good, I haven't been faithfull with it since Wayne has been sick. Did the treadmill and some other things this am, felt good but can tell I haven't been doing it. Mom
