winning the fat war...

I just had to come and post about my recent weigh in (which is just me weighing myself on the scale at the gym...lol....)......

I lost another 4lbs!!!!!

This means I have lost 25lbs since I started changing my eating and exercise habits. :)

In the past month I have totally re-vamped my eating and now follow a raw food way of eating. I know, that sounds strange and you are probably wondering what the heck that means... It just means that I eat a lot more fresh foods - go here and check it out: http://www.rawfood.com/ .

I am still eating fish that has been cooked and shrimp because I LOVE it and can't give it up just yet.
I also allow myself some "cheats" just beacause you can't give up everything all at once. :)

This has made a huge difference for me though. I have tons more energy, my skin is looking better all the time, I don't have the bloating at "that time of the month" and other things....

I also have been exercising 6 days a week. Either at the gym or at home. I vary my workout so I don't get bored and my muscles don't get bored either :)

There's a new me emerging from under all that fat I have been carrying around for years..I am loving seeing that new me :)

Edited to add:

My new favorite smoothie is: a frozen banana, pineapple slices, mango sliced up, handful of spinach leaves, sprinkling of hemp seeds, 1/2 tsp of spirulina powder, & some ice water. Mix that all together in the blender and YUMMY!! It's very good for you. I'm having my second one of the day :)

great job Tina, keep up with it, I know how rewarding it is, I need to get back at it better, but with so much company I can't get to it without disturbing someone. Will get back at it soon, haven't gained any though so that it good also. Mom
