Jessica was turned to the "dark side" of music when she visited mom & Wayne for the summer a year ago. Ok, country is not the "dark side" but it is fun to tease ;)
Anyhow, Jess really wanted to go to the concert so I took her and her friend and dropped them off on the base. It was family friendly and she is familiar with the area so I was not worried at all.
She and Alyssa managed to get up close to the stage. Close enough to get some pictures with her cell phone and also to get two handshakes and 4 or 5 high-fives from Aaron. She was sooooo excited!!
They said it was a great concert. I really do wish I could have stayed for it, but it was one of our busy nights with many places to be.
And once Jessica showed me THIS picture to the right, I wondered if maybe I should have stayed!!

Jessica, I'm glad you made it to the concert, you were very lucky to get up so close, I envey you and am very happy you like country music, you can come stay with me any time, the music is always on when I'm home. Take care. Love Gramma
