weigh-in wednesday...

It's that day again...time to weigh in at Weight Watchers :)

I sooooo thought I was going to have gained weight because I was bad this past week. I think only 2 or 3 days I stayed within my points... :( I tell ya, KFC biscuts will kill ya!

Anyhow, I lost 1 pound!! Wooo Hoooo!! That's sooo better than nothing. :)

I have been walking everyday (except Sunday) and M,W,F I do a workout with Jillian from Biggest Loser, then T,Th, & Sat I do my ab workout with another dvd. I like this.

Today at the meeting the girl said that when you build muscle without losing the fat then you just have fat on top of muscle. I have to look this up because I'm not totally sure I agree with this. Bev, Maybe you could ask your trainer? If that's true then I need to up the cardio a bit more.

Have a great Wednesday!

that is true...you do need to do at least 30 minutes of cardio daily! I have been going now 6 days a week doing cardio and some weights for two weeks. I am seeing more inches lost and have also seen muscle that is showing up. The trainers tell me that no matter what I have to get my cardio in each day, that is the main way to lose weight...then you start to build lean muscle which will burn the calories faster and help you to lose weight. I finally had a loss again, 1.8 down. I still have 3 lbs to lose to get back to my pre "week vacation" weight, but it will be coming off soon. So yes get your cardio in and do some interval training too..meaning take 1 minute to work yourself super hard, then slow down your heart rate for a few minutes and then hit it hard for another minute...keep this up for about 10 mintues...then slowly work up to 20 minutes of interval training..it works good....I also switch up what i do so my body does not get used to one routine..this week I have been getting on the treadmill more so my body gets messed up and is forced to let more calories get burned and not get used to my normal 30 minutes on the elliptical.
Hope this helps.
