If you guessed the zoo you are correct. If you guessed the zoo at our house, then you are wrong :)
We went to the San Diego Zoo. It was pretty fun. First we took a bus tour of the whole zoo, then we decided to walk around a bit to see different animals that the tour guide had pointed out.
Our first mistake was following Jessica, who was trying to take us to the "Cat Walk" and see the Tigers. She took us the complete opposite way! Boy did we give her heck about that one. I can't tell you how many times we passed the bears... but it was enough times to be really sick of looking at them!
We found a few monkeys which made Patrick happy and we eventually made it over to see the elephants, giraffes, & rhinos. We couldn't remember how to get to the hippos. At Patrick's insistance we walked around the reptile area and saw LOTS of snakes!
Patrick and I also made a fun stop while leaving the children's area of the zoo. We found an insect building where we saw some really gross insects, and bees making honey. He really liked it :)
Jessica tried to lead us to the Tigers again and that was another bust. She finally found the way on her own there and got to have a SHORT glimpse before it went back to feed...lol

The zoo there is big, I remember when we went there when Jess and Ryan were small enough to push around in the stroller. Mom
yeah but that was the Phoenix zoo mom, this one is even bigger! Talk about some exercise...although I forgot to take my inhaler in with me so I had to take some of it slowly. It was fun though and fun to see Patrick enjoy it for the first time ever :)
