On Tuesday (10-2) Autumn's classmate, Ira, came home with us for a little while.
.I had purchased a pumpkin for Autumn while she was at school and she & Ira decided they would carry it in and then carve it together.

.Here is a picture of Autumn starting to carve the pumpkin. Ira and Patrick enjoyed rice krispy bars while watching her :)

After Autumn did the initial cut and also cut half way around the top, Ira took a turn at stabbing it. He had fun :)

They cleaned out a good portion of it and then asked me to finish it. After I got it cleaned out, Autumn started carving the face she drew.
Ira drew a face on the other side of it and Autumn carved that too. It was lots of fun and we baked up the pumpkin seeds afterwards.

Autumn doesn't waste time with the knife does she. Haven't nhad a carved pumkin in the house for a long time. Glad they had fun doing it. Mom
