the end...

Just the end of our visit up north :)
We have had a great time seeing family and spending time together. It's now time to head home and get into that routine again.

We've had many fun times up here...

• golf cart rides
• half a day at Pamprin Park
• meeting new friends
• mowing the lawn (that's a two hour job on a riding lawnmower!! I left her some crop circles around the trees...haha!!)
• driving to Duluth and taking a wrong turn...(not unusual for me..lol)
• getting to Duluth and not being able to find my sister's house! (mom told me the wrong street! Had to call Brad after a few trips down the same street and Autumn calling me a dork!)
• my sister's "creepy message" on my phone the night we were doing smores...
• laughing at Brad's lawn chair...you have to see it to believe it!
• my night alone with the kids at Carrie's house (Carrie was at a wedding and I spooked myself out a couple times...not a hard thing to do..)
• my night at Carrie's when the kids spent the night at Renee's (the quiet was soooooo wonderful that I didn't want to go to Renee's the next day..lol)
• going to see the horses at the farm with all the kids and Carrie (I got my toes stepped on by one of the horses....it wasn't funny but they all got a good laugh because I was a dummy and wore sandles there...)
• the rides at the Paul Bunyon Park in Brainerd (my little sisters are evil!! They got me on rides that I was soo scared of! and they thought is was soooo funny!!)
• watching Patrick have a good time with Grandpa Bill (they rode all the rides and Patrick LOVED the scary ones!)
• listening to Uncle Wayne mess with Patrick and Autumn
• listening to Patrick tell me about Uncle Wayne messing around with him...haha
• time at the "beach" with Bev (Lake Michigan is sooo close to her house and the kids loved playing in the sand and the water)
• smores at Bev's house

There were many more that I'm sure will come back to me.... A real fun one was watching Autumn & Patrick as they were able to ride an airplane for the first time :)

It's hard to leave here knowing that time is winding down for Wayne, but mom & Wayne Jr need that time with him. I personally don't want to watch him decline any more. I'll be back again....
